ECA/PAC Advances Member Goals
The ECA Political Action Committee - ECA/PAC - has worked for more than three decades to
advance the legislative goals of the association's members in the arena of heavy construction. The ECA/PAC has as its mission to ensure the interests of the industry are heard and represented in the halls of power where ever needed throughout Southern California and in Sacramento. |
|
The ECA/PAC accomplishes these objectives in a number of ways
including educating political leaders as to the importance of specific needs of the construction industry. Working in conjunction with ECA's full-time Legislative Advocate, Phil Vermeulen, and the association's Legislative Committee, the ECA/PAC provides leadership on multiple fronts representing concerns of both contractors and affiliates.
Funding for ECA/PAC efforts is garnered through a number of events
throughout the year. These events include: The Silent Auction at the Annual Installation of Officers; Casino Night featuring a discussion of pressing issues; Annual PAC Golf Tournament; and occasional other special events for individual candidates or electoral contests. |
