The California State Legislature returned this past Monday to commence the 2013-2014 legislative session. As we all know, this is going to be a very interesting year! As Sacramento Bee Columnist Dan Walters writes:

Oh, My! As if we already didn’t have enough to deal with due to an economy that is just now starting to sputter forward, butcertainly could recede again quickly if certain factors hit. I’d hate to be the bearer of bad news, but these factors are starting to line up to make a BIG hit!! Indeed, first is the fast-approaching fiscal cliff which could potentially wreak the economy.
